(MIDVALE) How to Connect to Office Printer - MAC (APPLE)
Open your web browser (either Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Internet Explorer, Opera, etc.)
Click " Select" by the recommended driver named UFRII_v10.17.0_Mac.zip
Click the red " Download" button
Click on the download, it should look something like this depending on which browser you're using:

Next, open your "Downloads" folder and open the UFRII_v10.17.0_Mac.dmg file and follow this sequence:
It will ask you to type in the password you use to log onto your computer, then:
Now that the printer driver is installed. We need to add the printer itself. Click the " System Preferences" on your taskbar
Click on " Printers & Scanners"
Click the small + sign button
Click on the " IP" tab
Now type in the following info:
- Address: 192.168.2.195
- Name: North Copier
- Location: North Copier
Now change the " Protocol:" to "Line Printer Daemon - LPD"
Now click on " Use" and we're going to search for our printer driver that we downloaded earlier
Type in " 7565" and select the driver
Your settings should look like this, then click "Add"
Now that the printer is added, click on the " North Copier" and select "Options & Supplies"
Click the " Options" tab and make sure the "Department ID Management" box is checked. Then click OK
Next, click the " Utility" tab and select "Open Printer Utility"
Make sure under User Management that it is showing " Department ID Management". Now in the Department ID box, type in the last 4 of your SSN, then click Save Settings.
Now, open up a website, like google.com. Then click "File" and "Print"
When the print screen comes up, click on " Print Using System Dialogue"
If this screen shows up, click " Show Details"
Click on " Layout" and change it to "Special Features"
Under User Management make sure it shows " Department ID Management" and click "Settings..."
In the Department ID box, type in the last 4 of your SSN, then click OK. (*Note: DO NOT check the confirm department ID box)
In the Presets: box, click on " Default Settings" and select "Save Current Settings as Preset..."
Name the Preset " North Copier" make sure "Only this printer" is marked, then click OK
When you go to print, make sure both the " Printer" and "Preset" boxes show "North Copier"
